Phillip Reed Allison, 66, of Blakely, GA, formerly of Cumming passed away Friday, July 14, 2023. Phil was a retired from Gwinnett County as a Firefighter/EMT and Volunteer Firefighter with Forsyth County. He is preceded in death by his parents, Prince Hugo and Nellie Kate Jones Allison. Phil was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 20 year, Theresa Allison; children, Kareth and Josh Sims, Nick and Brooke Westbrook, Steven and Kaitlin Westbrook, Brittney and Kyle Nolan; grandchildren, John, Rena, Laney, Hallie, Easton, Scarlet, Cameron and Wilkes.
Graveside funeral services, with Firefighter Honors, will be held Thursday, July 20, at 1:30 p.m. at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Duluth with Rev. Phill Martin officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Fallen Fire Fighter Fund, 3655 Watson RD, Cumming, GA 30028 or to the Georgia Burn Foundation, 2575 Chantilly Drive, Atlanta, Georgia 30324.
