Phillip Neil Capps

Phillip Neil Capps, age 48, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024, at UNC Chapel Hill, surrounded by his family. Born May 30, 1976, he was a son of Joseph "Donnie" and Georgene Anthony Capps of Princeton. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Neil Anthony and paternal grandparents, Joe and Kathlene Capps. Phillip loved his kids and family and was a loyal friend that was loved by many. When able, Phillip enjoyed fishing and watching Nascar and football. He was a member of Ignite Bible Fellowship Church.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2024, in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Sunday, just prior to the service at the funeral home.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his sons, Cullin Capps, Raylon Capps and Conner Capps; daughter, Caroline Capps; brothers, Kevin Capps and wife Beth and Heath Capps, and wife Melissa; maternal grandmother, Dixie Anthony and his fiancée, Brandy Lane and her extended family; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
