Phillip "Phil" Fedun, Sr. – Age 65 of Nashville, TN. January 15, 2024.
Phil Fedun known as "THE ONE AND ONLY" to nieces and nephews and as a "Legend" and prankster in the Ag Crime Unit. (ACU). He worked for the State of Tennessee Department of Agriculture for 46 years. Phil loved his faith, family and enjoyed sports especially The University of Tennessee. He coached many boys and girls in baseball, basketball, and volleyball and attended family sports as often as he could.
The family would like to thank Advance Healthcare of Nashville for being so caring and compassionate.
Preceded in death by parents, Paul and Alberta Fedun; nephew, Greg Michael Beem, Jr. and brother-in-law, Carl James. Survived by wife, Linda Wood Fedun; sons, Phillip "Matt" (Misty) Fedun and Chris Fedun; grandchildren, Knox and Emery Fedun; sisters, Gayle (Greg) Beem, Brenda (Eddie) Malone and Paulette James; brothers, Umpy (Tyan) Fedun and Joe Fedun; sisters-in-law, Judy Wood, Lisa Nix-Barr, Sarah Schmidt and Patty (Chuck) Passons; 20 nieces and nephews; 40 great nieces and great nephews and one great-great niece.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Andrew Bulso on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. (visitation 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.) at St. Edward Catholic Church, 188 Thompson Lane. Interment Calvary Cemetery. His nephews will serve as Active Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tennessee Agriculture Crime Unit. Memorial contributions may be made to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Phil's memory. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 25, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. with the Rosary Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road, 615-331-1952.

Phil was a classmate at St. Edward and Fr. Ryann. I remember him as a very friendly guy with a good sense of humor, and he was a very good athlete. My condolences to the family.
