Phillip David Fowler, aged 88, of Lander, Wyoming, passed away peacefully at his home on August 15, 2025. Born on December 26, 1936, in St. Louis, Missouri, to James A. Fowler and Pearl Lorraine Beyerbach, Phillip lived a life marked by service and dedication.

He proudly served in the United States Air Force before embarking on a long and successful career as an electrician with Anheuser-Busch, where he worked from March 2, 1959, until his retirement on December 30, 1994. A dedicated member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Phillip was also actively involved in several organizations, including the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Shriners, and the Elks Lodge.

After the passing of his beloved wife, Gloria Jean Fowler, Phillip moved to Wyoming in 2004, where he embraced the wide open spaces and freedom of the West. He spent his later years enjoying the land, a cold Budweiser, and the occasional Jack Daniels.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Gloria, his brother James Fowler, his daughters Debra Notbusch and Diane Johnston, and his great-grandson Chevy Gall. He is survived by his loving daughter, Susan Deering, as well as 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren who will carry on his legacy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at The Maverick Lounge in Lander. Please sign the online guestbook at: hudsonsfh.com.
