Phillip, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2024, in Greenville, SC, at the age of 36. Born on May 27, 1987, in Easley, SC, Phillip's life was a testament to his loving nature and faith-filled spirit, which he cultivated from a young age.

Phillip was the beloved son of Dan Howard and the late Judy Howard. He grew up in a vibrant household with his siblings, Brook Howard, Sara Wallace (Tim), Sonia Sightler (Robert), Rebecca Green (David), Elisabeth Howard (Jeffrey), and Josh Howard (Kelly), who will forever remember his warmth and guidance. Phillip's role as a doting uncle to his many nieces and nephews — Kaeleigh, Sonia Brook (Katlin), Avery (Hannah), Jakob, Madelyn, Nate, Caroline, Kaden, Adelaide, Tyler, Abram, Isabel, Jameson, and Sadie, and great nephew Timothy. — was one he embraced with joy and pride.

Following his graduation from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts in History, Phillip dedicated his professional life to the HVAC industry as a skilled mechanic. His work ethic and intelligence left a lasting impact on his colleagues and the numerous clients he served throughout his career. His involvement and commitment to his profession were as steadfast as his character.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Phillip was a man of many passions. He held a deep love for his family, which was the cornerstone of his life. His faith in God and Christ was unwavering and guided him in all of his actions and decisions. Phillip's interest in baseball was more than just a pastime; it was a reflection of his love for the game's history and its ability to bring people together. He also found solace and joy in fishing, where he could appreciate the tranquility of nature and the simple pleasures of life.

Those who knew Phillip would describe him as a loving individual whose faith-filled approach to life inspired everyone around him. His intelligence was not just academic but also emotional, allowing him to connect with people on a profound level. His laughter and kindness were infectious, and he had the remarkable ability to make each person he met feel valued and important.

Phillip's legacy is one of love, faith, and familial devotion. It is a legacy that will continue to live on in the hearts and memories of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though his time on earth was shorter than we hoped, the impact he made was immeasurable, and his spirit will forever be a beacon of light for his family and friends.

As we bid farewell to Phillip, we take solace in the memories we have shared and the love that he so freely gave. He leaves behind a world that is better for his presence, and a void that will be deeply felt by all.
