Phillip "Bubba" Charles Jamison, age 55, of Idabel, Oklahoma, passed away July 19, 2025. Born
February 14, 1970, in Idabel, Bubba graduated from Valliant High School and proudly served his
country as a veteran of the United States Navy. A devoted father, grandfather, brother, and
friend, his love for family and the outdoors defined much of his life.
Bubba had a deep passion for hunting and fishing, especially when it meant time spent with his
sons. He treasured every moment in nature with them, passing down many beloved traditions.
Known for his contagious laugh, love of cooking, and outgoing personality, Bubba never met a
stranger. He worked as a skilled heavy equipment operator and was known for being loud, proud,
and full of life, especially when it came to his trucks, which could be heard long before they
were seen.
He was also passionate about youth sports, especially baseball. Bubba helped found the
Eagletown Baseball Youth Association (EBYA) and coached little league for many years,
making a lasting impact on young athletes throughout the community. To his many nieces and
nephews, he was more than an uncle, he was Uncle Bubba, a larger-than-life figure who was
always ready with a joke, a story, or a helping hand. He played an important role in their lives
and was loved deeply in return.
Bubba is survived by his sons, Dakota Jamison and wife Haley of Moscow, Texas, and Derek
Jamison and wife Katy of Eagletown, Oklahoma; and by his beloved grandsons, Dawson,
Grayson, and Landyn. He is also survived by his siblings: David, Tammy, Wanda, and Terry;
along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, a host of loving aunts and uncles, and many
cherished friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Cindy Jamison of Garvin, Oklahoma; and
his grandparents: FM and Myrtle Jamison, and Pauline and Allie Smith of Broken Bow,
Oklahoma.
Bubba will be remembered for his strong spirit, generous heart, and the countless memories
made on the water, in the woods, in his loud trucks, and on the ballfield. Above all, he deeply
loved his family and took immense pride in his children and grandchildren.

The Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2025 at Clardy Funeral
Service. A celebration of life funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2025 at
Clardy Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, with Bro. Brent
Coffey officiating.
