Phillip G. Mack, of Watertown, New York, passed away on July 17, 2024, at the Samaritan Medical Center. He was born on January 30, 1964, the son of the late Henry and Elsie Booth Mack.
Phillip resided at Sunmount Developmental Center in Tupper Lake and later became a part of the JRC family, now known as The ARC, where he has lived for the past several years. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family and participated in various community activities, including sports events, dances, dining out, movies, and bowling. Phillip was known for his friendly nature and loved meeting new people. He took pride in his appearance and enjoyed shopping for new clothes. He also liked relaxing and listening to the radio each day.
Phillip is survived by his nieces, Tina, Laura, Teresa, Kelly, and Sandy,and their families; nephews, Ron, Richard, Joey, and Kevin, Jr. and their families; his brother-in-law, Kevin LaComb, Sr.; several cousins; and his family he made at The ARC.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Robin LaComb; his three older brothers and their wives, Joseph and RoseAnn Mack, Ronald and Sharon Mack, and Charles and Jeanne Mack; a brother, Daryl, who died at birth; a sister-in-law, Jane Mack; and a great nephew, Joseph David Mack.
Arrangements are with the Bruce Funeral Home in Black River. A calling hour will be held on Monday, July 22nd, from 6 to 7 p.m., with a funeral service immediately following at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A private burial will take place in the Felts Mills Cemetery.
