Phillip John Mostyn

Phillip John Mostyn, I, 63, of New Castle passed away Saturday morning, April 6, 2024, in his residence.
Mr. Mostyn was born March 28, 1961, in Rochester, NY, a son of the late Lowell Mostyn, Sr. and Clarabelle Beaumont.
Phillip worked for the Virginia Department of Transportation and later retired from Keystone Glass Specialty. During retirement, he worked as a caregiver for Sunny Days Home Health until 2019.
Phillip was a member of Holy Spirit Parish of New Castle - St. Mary's Church.
He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.
His beloved wife, Tammie Lynn Mostyn, preceded him in death on February 8, 2023.
Phillip is survived by a son, Phillip Mostyn, II, (Jessica), Virginia; two daughters, Kayla Douglass (Phillip), and Krystal Mravintz (Adam), both of New Castle; three brothers, Lowell Mostyn, Jr, Newark, NY, Wayne Beaumont, NY, and Bruce Beaumont, Jr., Rochester, NY; three sisters, Roxanne Berrak, Clearwater, FL, Michelle Ficcaro (Wayne Laplont, Sr.,) Newark, NY, and Leslie Beaumont, SC; 11 grandchildren, Bryce Mravintz, Zachary Mravintz, Hunter Douglass, Kylee Mostyn, Chase Douglass, Leo Douglass, Lana Douglass, Kelsey Mostyn, Teigan Mravintz, Leland Mravintz, and Kane Mravintz; three sisters-in-law, Terri McClaren (Jeff), Mary Barber, and Cynthia Stockman (Gary), all of New Castle; three brothers-in-law, Dallas Black I, (Laura), Ft, Lauderdale, Fl, Richard Russell, and Derel Black (Joy), New Castle; a mother-in-law, Gloria Jean Tucker; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Phillip was preceded in death by a step-father, Bruce Beaumont, Sr.; a father-in-law, Thomas Tucker; three brothers-in-law, Edward, Dan, and Jim Black; a niece, Shelia Hill; and a granddaughter, Paislynn Joy Mravintz, who passed shortly after being born.
In keeping with Phillip's wishes, all services will be held privately.
