Phillip Shaffer Obituary
Besides his parents, Robert and Debra he is survived by his siblings, Bobbi Jo Phillips of Rockdale and brother in law, Justin Phillips of South New Berlin, Andrew and Jenn Shaffer of Oxford, and Amber Shaffer of Sherburne; his nephew and nieces, Evan Phillips and Chloe Phillips of South New Berlin, and Braelynn Mottl of Sherburne. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Phil attend Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton Central School. He loved building and working on guns. He loved all genres of music. He liked studying geology and rock hunting. He attended the Mt. Upton United Methodist Church.
Friends may call at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford on Monday, September 13, 2021 from Noon until 2:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Brandi Craver officiating.
Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Mt. Upton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt.Upton United Methodist Church, PO Box 203, Sidney, NY 13838. Friends and family may share memories and condolences by visiting www.behefuneralhome.com

I first met Phillip at BOCES where I work. Phillip was so kind to our mother. My mother thought a lot of Phillip and would bake him cookies to give him after mowing her lawn. He used to ask her for a big hug and she was like a second mom (Gramma). He was a kind soul and will be missed. Sending prayers to his family during this difficult time.
