Phillip Andrew “Drew” Shelby, 38, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025. Drew was born on June 26, 1987, to Phillip and Brenda Shelby in Madison, Tennessee.

Drew had a calm and quiet spirit, a loving heart, and a deep love for his family. His daughter McKenna was the light of his life. Drew’s love, laughter, and sense of humor will be missed by all that knew him. Drew was a huge UT Vols fan, along with Kobe Bryant, and Michael Jordan, and an avid collector of sports memorabilia. And not to forget, Drew loved a good pair of shoes!

Drew is preceded in death by his brother Tyler Shelby, his grandparents Jim and Ann Ruth Shelby, H.N. Walker and Wilma Walker Deering. He is survived by his daughter McKenna, his parents Phil and Brenda Shelby and large extended loving family.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 11am-1pm at Hendersonville Memorial Gardens. Service will begin at 1pm in the Chapel followed by a burial at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be family and close friends including, Ethan Jensen, Micah Shelby, Andrew Childs, Josh Estes, Justin Estes, Brandon Tate, Elijah Shelby and Todd Felts, who shared in Drew’s life, love, and laughter.

In lieu of flowers, please make a charitable contribution to Hope for the Day, Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network, 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or your favorite charitable organization.
