Phylis Neuber Obituary
Phylis Elaine Neuber (ne. Crooks), age 81, of Richland, MI, passed away on October 4th 2022. She was predeceased by husband, Dale Neuber, mother, Irma Crooks, father, John Crooks, sister Bonnie Clark, sister, Martha VendeLind, brother Thomas Crooks, and son, Kenneth Washburn. Phylis left behind sister, Joanne Cole, sister, Deborah Buscher, daughter, Wendy Washburn, son, Kevin Washburn, son, Brian (Linda) Washburn, 9 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Phylis was a self-described "tom-boy" growing up. She always had a dog by her side. Early in life she started a family and discovered her love of kids, especially babies. She was a talented artist that devoted much of her life to painting, knitting, and sewing. She used her skills to build a career as a seamstress for Redwood and Ross. Phylis was a generous spirit that enjoyed giving beautifully wrapped gifts and cooking and baking delicious goodies that she often served on rose guilded china. She will be missed by all who loved her.
