Phyllis was born in Middletown, NY on June 21, 1933, to Harry Valentine and Mabel Mae Wall LaDue.
Phyllis was raised in Middletown, NY and after marriage moved to Otisville, NY where she raised her daughter and worked for 30 years for the NY City Department of Health. In 1986 she moved to Spring Hill, Florida where she and her husband spent 30 years before moving to Calabash, NC.
She is predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Richard H. Chiswell and three sisters: Louise Mills (Wayne) of Edgewater, Fl, Marie Geiger (Cliff) of Cocoa, Florida and Gloria Tariski of Altamonte Springs, Florida.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter: Donna Beairsto (John) of Calabash, NC; grandson: Adam T. Beairsto (Jennifer) and great grandchildren: Caleb, Cole and Camryn of Littleton, Colorado. Also, several nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell FL, at a later date.
