Phyllis Marie Cook passed away on Monday December 21, 2015 at Memorial Herman Hospital in Houston, Tx. She passed quietly in peace and love. Phyllis was born at home in Kendrick, Ok to her loving parents Mearle and Thelma Blakley on January 27, 1940. She is survived by her children Rick and Cindy Cook of Baytown, Tx., Kerry Cook and Nancy Thomason of Denison, Tx., Sandra Cook and William Graves of Newalla, Ok., and Michael and Dianne Cook of Seminole, Ok., Also her Grandchildren Sevin Cook Gallo and Damian Gallo of Fayetteville, Ar., Jimmy and Bridget Cook of Harrah, Ok.,Rickey Cook Jr of Oklahoma City, Ok Jaylyn Cook Sexton and Jamie Sexton of Jerseyville, Il., James Cook Jr. and Danielle Cook of Jupiter, Fl., Cassandra Cook Burley and Josh Burley of Midwest City, Ok., William Graves Jr of Newalla, Ok., Kyle Graves of Newalla Ok., Jennifer Herring of Newalla, Ok., Patrick Campbell of Seminole, Ok., Marcie Campbell Stanfill and Daniel Stanfill of Shawnee, Ok., and her Great Grandchildren Marco Gallo, Carolina Gallo, Leila Gallo, Jordan Kadell, Noah Sexton, Avary Sexton, Lexi Sexton, Jackson Kadell, Konner Graves, Mason Graves, Preslie Graves, Ty Campbell, Olivia Black, Rhyella Stanfill and Ruxon Stanfill. Phyliis is also survived by her sisters Fern Blakley McGhee of Kingston, Ok., Virginia Blakley Crook of Cushing, Ok., Pat Blakley Burton of Norman Ok., Ivola(Sissie) Blakley Dowdy of Bristow, Ok., Viola(Tommie) Blakley Webb of Chandler, Ok., Sharon(Shorty) Blakley Turner of Norman, Ok., and their spouses, nieces and nephews. A large beautiful family that sticks together through thick and thin. Phyllis was preceeded in death by her parents Mearle and Thelma Blakley and infant sister Karen Faye Blakley, her husband Jimmie F. Cook and son James Chester Cook. Phyllis Marie loved her family more than anything and she will be missed always. She was literally the HEART of the family. She set an example for all of us to follow: Loyalty and love of family are first and foremost Fun and laughter are the best medicine Life is short, eat lemon pie and chocolate cake Always, always be true to yourself and kind to others and of course no dirty dishes in her clean dishwater! We are all better for having known her, loved her and been loved by her!

will miss you and always love you. And will always cherish the times us sisters had together.
