Born in New Castle on January 10, 1946 Phyllis was the daughter of the late Victor and Ruth Porterfield Pilch.
Phyllis spent many years working as a cafeteria worker for the Public School System until she retired.
She was an avid reader. Phyllis also enjoyed watching movies and doing crafting. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.
Phyllis is survived by her children, Joe DeCristoforo (Laura), Mike DeCristoforo, Vic DeCristoforo (Stacie) and Sean DeCristoforo (LeighAnn), her sister, Patty Giannini, six grandchildren, Victoria, Cassie, Nico, Dante, Mia and Ryan, two great-grandchildren, Lilly and Violet, her nephew, Tommy Giannini and niece, Tina Libby (Jarod) and great nieces and nephews, Maddie, Julian, Rielyn, Emersyn and Kaedyn.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Tom Giannini.
Honoring her wishes, services are private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
