Armelia Henderson Obituary

Born on November 30, 1940, in New Castle, PA, to Walter and Leila Dixon, she attended New Castle Senior High School, where she played drums in the band and basketball. She retired from Rockwell Steel. Armelia loved a good game of Bidwiz or Spades, playing bingo, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eula Henderson; her parents, Walter and Leila Dixon; her daughter, Tammy Henderson; and four brothers, Walter Dixon, Robert Dixon, John Dixon, and Kenneth Rowe.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Claressia Leaks (Anthony); her son, Roger Henderson (Stacey); her brother, Clarence Dixon (Shirley),her sister-in-laws, Margaret Henderson and Mary Henderson, six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of life for Armelia on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at:
St. Paul Baptist Church
