He was born on December 25, 1963 in New Castle, PA to the late, Donald and Minnie (George) Kaufman.
Donald married his beloved wife, the former Donna J. Farrell on April 30, 1983. Donna recently preceded him in death on August 14, 2025.
Don worked as a custodian at Union Township School District for almost 30 years.
He will be deeply missed by his children, Jamie Flowers (Chris) and Michael Kaufman; siblings, Charles Kaufman and Brenda Renfro (Tom); and grandchildren, Robert Flowers, Jordan Flowers, and Kaylee Flowers, who were the light of his life.
In addition to his parents and wife, Don was preceded in death by siblings, Donna Johnston, Loretta Bartberger, and Isabelle Kaufman; and his beloved dog, Jessie.
In keeping with his wishes, all services are private. Arrangements have been entrusted to, Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home, 941 S. Mill St. Interment will be at Oak Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lawrence County Humane Society, P.O. Box 62
New Castle, PA 16103.
