Rosalind (Gold) Kaufman, age 86, passed away peacefully in her home in Sun City Center, Florida, on October 1, 2025.

Born and raised in New York, Rosalind earned an Associate of Arts degree and began her career as a commercial artist. She later married Allen Kaufman and moved to Miami Beach, Florida, where they raised three children together.

As her children grew older, Rosalind returned to the workforce as a beloved preschool teacher at Temple Menorah, where she worked for 16 years. Her nurturing spirit and creativity made her a cherished figure in the lives of many young families and coworkers.

Rosalind had a passion for cooking, creating art, watching detective shows, and singing along to musicals. Her sense of humor, perseverance, and generous heart touched everyone who knew her.

After retiring and divorcing, Rosalind relocated to Tampa to be closer to her children and grandchildren, embracing her role as a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

She is survived by her sister, Gloria Altman; her children, Jennifer Langlass, David Kaufman, and Eli Kaufman; her grandchildren, Robert Langlass, Abigail Langlass, Peyton Kaufman, and Mia Prada Vargas; and her nieces, Marlene Huntsman and Iris Altman.

Rosalind's memory will live on in the laughter she inspired, the love she gave, and the legacy she leaves behind.
