Phyllis M. Green, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully departed this life on January 4, 2026, at the age of 89 in Grayling, MI. Born on January 27, 1936, in Johannesburg, MI, Phyllis was a beacon of love and warmth to those who knew her.
Phyllis graduated from Boyne City High School and married the love of her life, James. Together they created a nurturing home, raising four children who became the pride and joy of her life. As a devoted mother, she imparted her values and love to her family, creating a legacy that will endure for generations.
Faith was integral to Phyllis's life, and she was an active member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Vanderbilt. Her Catholic faith provided her with strength and guidance, influencing not only her life but also the lives of those around her.

In her leisure time, Phyllis found happiness in simple pleasures, whether it was crocheting beautiful pieces to share, gathering berries during the summer months, or engaging in spirited games of cards with family and friends.
In her final days, Phyllis was surrounded by her beloved family at a care facility that had become her home over the past two years. It was there that she faced her final journey with the grace and dignity that characterized her life, surrounded by the people she loved most.
