Phyllis Hanna Obituary
Phyllis A. Hanna, 88, of Wooster, died Friday, December 16, 2022, at LifeCare Hospice surrounded by her family.
Friends may call Wednesday, December 21, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will be held at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Daron Butler officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Memorial contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd, Wooster OH 44691.
Phyllis was born March 6, 1934, in Marshallville, OH to Roy and Betty {Houser} Boss.
She married Gene Hanna on July 14, 1954.
Phyllis retired after 20 years from ACDC as an Account Clerk in 1999. She was a member of the Wooster Grace Church. Phyllis held offices in the AARP Wooster Chapter. She enjoyed travelling, camping, shopping, and playing Euchre. Most of all, Phyllis loved her family and her cat.
Phyllis will be deeply missed by her husband of 68 years; children Debra (Roger) Stanford of Canton and Sandra (Douglas) Burch of Van Buren Township Michigan; grandchildren Amanda (Eddie) Hyde of Smithville, Jamin (Danielle) Sprowl of Wooster, Megan (Jereme) Proudman of Cable, and Kaitlin (Eric) Schneider of Ravenna; 10 great-grandchildren
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, son Brian Hanna.
