Phyllis Hornbaker Obituary
Born November 6, 1935 in Mercersburg, she was a daughter of the late Lewis H. and Eva May Werdebaugh Hornbaker.
Phyllis attended Maple Grove Church of God in Mercersburg, PA.
Phyllis is survived by her granddaughter, Sarah (Joey) Short, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Straley, her son, Roger Hornbaker, a granddaughter Rebecca Straley, and her siblings: Kathryn Shives, Mary Thomas, Arrietta Hornbaker, Betty Armstrong, Clarence, James, Lewis, Robert, Virgal, Ralph, Garnet, and John Hornbaker.
A funeral service will be 11:00am on Friday, January 23, 2026 at Fries Funeral Home in Mercersburg, PA, with Pastor Johnathan Laye officiating. Burial will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery.
Arrangements by Fries Funeral Home Inc., Mercersburg, PA.
