Phyllis Mildred Izzett (Miller)
Phyllis Mildred Izzett, 92, died on Wednesday, June 4,2025, in her home surrounded my loved ones. She was born on September 1,1932 in Cumberland, Maryland.
After going to Fort Hill High School, she worked at Social Services where she took the clients' places and cleaned houses. She was also a member of the LaVale Methodist Church in LaVale Maryland.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ivan Eugene Izzett Sr, one son Ivan Eugene Izzett Jr, two grandsons William Robert Powell (Billy) and Ivan Eugene Izzett III and her special companion dog named Wendy.
She was survived by two sisters Linda Neil and Ruthie Athey, one daughter Phyllis Liller, husband Kevin Liller, five grandchildren Cindy Farris, husband Gary Farris, Ivan Powell, Andrew Powell Jr, Teresa Anderson, husband Curtis Anderson, and Patty Parson, husband Doug Parsons, eleven great grandchildren, Katelin Farris, husband Carl Jackson III, Zachary Farris, Ariel Powell, Hawk Powell, Andrew Powell III, wife Shana Powell, Ashley Powell, Melissa Tallman, husband John Tallman, Cheyenne Bean, husband Jonah Bean, Holly Parsons, Jeremy Kennell and Aurora Kennell, and thirteen great great grandchildren Colton Jackson, Savanah Jackson, Bryson Farris, Brooklyn Farris, Maurice Whiteman, Ayden Powell, Aeryn Powell, Aliyah Powell, Kamora Powell, Addie Anderson, Natalie Anderson, Gannon Anderson, and Dawson Elliot.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog Wendy. She had all of the holiday dinners at her house. She had an Easter egg hunt for the kids.
Her viewing will be Monday, June 9,2025 from 11am to 1pm and service at 1pm at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave, Cumberland. Phyllis will be buried at Restlawn Memorial Gardens. The pallbearers are Gary Farris, Zachary Farris, Ivan Powell, Kevin Liller, Andrew Powell Jr, and Curtis Anderson.
