Phyllis Manley of Edgewater, Florida, departed this life on December 6th, 2024. A woman of remarkable generosity and unwavering loyalty, Phyllis touched countless lives through her charitable spirit and dedication to helping those in need. Known for her patriotic devotion and giving nature, she never hesitated to extend a helping hand to those around her. Her charity and genuine concern for others created lasting impacts throughout her community, where she built many friendships that enriched her life and the lives of others.
She is survived by her devoted sister Ludi Long and brother-in-law Steven, her beloved niece Kimberly Shackelford, and treasured great-niece and nephew, Molly and Matthew Shackelford. Her family will miss their cherished sister and aunt, whose unconditional love and childlike joy brought light to the family. She also leaves behind a circle of dear friends who became like a family to her through years of friendship and service.

My sincere condolences to Phyllis's family and to those who cared about
her, those who were so fortunate to reap a harvest in their lives from the seeds she planted to make other's lives better! She didn't wait, didn't hesitate nor ask for an opinion nor approval but sought solutions to quandaries opening the road ahead provisioning better life without discrimination!

My sister, Kristy and I met her at Attorney William Gambert's office and not only did they give us substantiated Hope but from there forward, Phyllis availed herself to point the way to legitimate resources to help every Veteran, every individual stymied, paused in overwhelm!

Her force was intelligence inextractible from a passion fueled by compassion and empathy for others, Her resolve to make better no matter what!!!!!

Phyllis built the very best generational foundations that are forever and now she gets to receive in His care
