Phyllis Patrice Green, 71, passed away peacefully at her home in Lumberton, MS on March 21, 2025. Patrice was preceded in death by her loving parents, Algie and Nell Green, and her brother, Rev. Al Green. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lumberton, MS. Patrice touched many lives throughout her 31 years of public service as a school teacher, coach, principal, and director. She earned national recognition for her work in grant writing to support children in public education. Patrice was a devoted mother and grandmother. She never missed an opportunity to enjoy time with her family, supporting them through all their endeavors, cheering them on through sporting events, and enjoying travel and leisure with them. This was her greatest joy. She is survived by one son, Eric Neel (Lindsey) of Meridian, MS and one daughter, Karlee Nobles, of Lumberton, MS; ten grandchildren, Christian Neel (Megan), Allee Grayce Keel (Tyler), Logan Johnston, Cole Neel, Ava Farmer, Easton Neel, Vallen Farmer, Catie Nell Neel, Cash Neel, and Tucker Neel; and three great grandchildren, Kenzie Rae Neel, Charlee Keel, and Keegan Paige Neel. Patrice will be greatly missed, but her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire others. Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Lumberton, MS on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. with the funeral beginning at 2:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Laurel, MS. Pallbearers are: Christian Neel, Logan Johnston, Cole Neel, Easton Neel, Tyler Keel, and Justin Byrd. Honorary pallbearers are Cash Neel and Tucker Neel. The family has requested that those in attendance wear bright colors to honor Patrice's memory. Trinity funeral Services is honored to serve the Neel Family and ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during these difficult times.
