Phyllis Wolverton Thompson, 97, was born to Edith Osterhout and William Hopkin Wolverton in Declo, Idaho on August 9, 1927. She was the 10th child of 13, having eight brothers and four sisters.
Phyllis spent her life loving, nurturing, and supporting her family. She was this way with the family she grew up in and the family she brought into this world. She was a great homemaker and a good housekeeper, cook, and seamstress. She was always there for us. She was a dependable neighbor, always willing to reach out and help others. She taught us to be good citizens and live the golden rule. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Phyllis passed into the next life November 3, 2024. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Keith Blaine Thompson.
She is survived by her children, Jerry Lee Thompson (Jackie Deavers); LaRon Keith Thompson (Paula Hepworth); Cheryle Jean Thompson Neal (Harvey); and Colette Thompson Nyborg (Jeff); 15 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, with a viewing beginning at 9:00 am, Friday, November 8, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Jerome 2nd Ward, 50 E 100 S, Jerome. Grave dedication will conclude at Jerome Cemetery.
