Phyllis Ware, age 77, passed away September 11, 2024, at Grady Hospital in Delaware, Ohio. Phyllis was born to the late Ellsworth Eugene and Betty (Dambaugh) Hart on January 3, 1947, in Lancaster, Ohio. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and sister Pam Huff.
Phyllis is survived by life partner of 40 years, Daniel Meyers; children, Ian (Bobbi Huffman) Ware, Joel (Tina) Meyers, and Jewel Gravley; grandchildren, Jacob Ware, Brittany (Jonathan) Sparks, Samantha Huffman, Ayden Meyers, Austen Meyers, Ashton Meyers, Avery Meyers, Cody Persinger, Isaac Persinger, and Alexis Persinger; 3 great-grandchildren, and her fur babies.
Phyllis worked most of her life with Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield. She loved her dogs, hosting holidays, and family was very important to her. She helped raise some of her grandchildren like they were her children. Phyllis was an avid deer hunter and a big Elvis fan. She will be deeply missed.
There will be a celebration of life service hosted by the family at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Marion County Humane Society. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.cremationservicesofohio.com.
