Phyllis Vanessa Washington

Phyllis was born on March 25, 1961 in Brooks County, Georgia to the late Vivian Phelps-Reddick and Nathaniel William Brown. She was educated in the Brooks County school system and later joined the United States Army serving 15 years. While stationed in Freeburg, Germany she met her loving husband Jerry. Phyllis was a devoted mother who loved all of her family. She was a fun spirit who enjoyed spending time with her family & friends, shopping, yard sales, and riding her bike. Trust and believe, if there was a party she was definitely going to get dressed up and be there. At the age of 64, Phyllis was called home to rest on October 17, 2025 while at the Medical University of South Carolina.
