Phyllis Zinn-Pritchard, born on April 11, 1951, in Cumberland, Maryland, passed away on August 7, 2025, in Kettering, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. Phyllis was a remarkable individual whose vibrant spirit and warmth left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew her. Throughout her life, Phyllis found joy in simple pleasures, particularly engaging in bingo games and visiting the casino. Her passion for cooking brought families and friends together, creating cherished memories that will resonate through the lives she touched. Phyllis's unwavering love for her family was at the core of her being, as she dedicated her life to nurturing and supporting them.
She is survived by her three siblings, Larry (Carolyn) Zinn, Paul (Cherie) Zinn, and Earl (Betsy) O'Ryan; granddaughter, Michelle (Jeremy) Nickel, along with her great-grandchildren, Joe, Kayla, and Kylee. Additionally, she leaves behind loving nieces and nephews: Tonya (Brandon), Yolonda (Johnathon), Cory (Brittany), Kyle (Crystal), and Lauren (Matt) Chastain, Alana, Ainsley, and Alice O'Ryan; great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family and many friends. Phyllis was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Woodrow "Woody" Pritchard and her parents, Lawrence Zinn and Edith O’Ryan. The void left by her absence is immeasurable, but her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives of her family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at McGee Park, Bellbrook on September 27, 2025. Time will be announced at a later date.
