Pierre LeChon Eastern

Pierre LeChon Eastern was born on June 23, 1968 to the union of Robert E. Eastern and Linda Shannon Eastern. After a lengthy illness, Pierre entered into eternal rest on March 22, 2025 surrounded by family and friends. He was the devoted father of Cassie Lynn and Ciara Lynn Eastern. Pierre was baptized at an early age at the First Free Mission Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev. Arthur L. Jones where he served until moving his membership to the Greater King Solomon MBC where he served until his demise. At Greater King Solomon, he was an active Sunday School member, member of the Male Chorus, and also served as Men's Day Co-Chair. Pierre had a very infectious personality, to know him was to love him. He loved his family and was always in touch with his cousins far and near. Pierre graduated from McDonogh 35 Senior High School, Class of 1986. After completing high school, he attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, La. He later enrolled at Delgado Community College where he pursued a degree in Horticulture. After graduating from Delgado, he along with his business partner, Robert Packnett became entrepreneurs and formed R&P Landscaping Business, LLC. Pierre was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Beatrice Eastern and Lula Mary Hall Shannon, and his parental grandparents, Jack Eastern and Thomas Z. Shannon. He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Cassie Lynn and Ciara Lynn Eastern; his father, Robert Eastern, and mother, Linda S. Eastern; one sister, Senta Maria Eastern; one aunt, Sandra Shannon Diggs; two uncles, Linnard (Pete) Shannon and Rev. George P. Easter; two bonus daughters, Arianna and Brianna Boudreaux; one niece, Alana M. Eastern; one nephew, Korey A. Lewis; three great nephews and three great nieces, and a host of devoted cousins and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Greater King Solomon Baptist Church,
