Z wielkim smutkiem zawiadamiamy, ze Piotr Nowak – ukochany ojciec, dziadek, brat, stryjek i przyjaciel – po ciezkiej i przewleklej chorobie odszedl w spokoju 20 maja 2025 w wieku 75 lat.
Piotr urodzil sie 3 marca 1950 roku w Polsce. W 1979 roku wyemigrowal do USA. W 1983 w Chicago otworzyl sklep Nowak's Farmer Market specjalizujacy sie w polskich produktach spozywczych i wlasnej produkcji wyrobach wedliniarskich. Polskie, domowe wedliny szybko zostaly docenione przez Polonie i nie tylko, dostarczane byly do srodowisk polonijnych w innych stanach i Kanadzie. Nowak's Farmer Market byl „oczkiem w glowie" Piotra, byl z niego bardzo dumny. Ze wzgledów zdrowotnych w roku 2022 Piotr musial podjac decyzje o zamknieciu sklepu.
Piotr przez cale swoje zycie dawal swiadectwo wytrwalosci, pracowitosci i zaradnosci. Lubil podróze, szczególnie do Polski co swiadczy o jego milosci do ojczystych stron. Poznawal równiez inne kraje i kultury, odwiedzil Peru, Turcje, Kanade i wiele krajów europejskich.
Pozostawil w zalobie synów Waldemara i Simona, synowe Agnieszke i Natalie, wnuczki Victorie i Michelle z mezem Marcusem, braci Andrzeja i Pawla, rodzine oraz przyjaciól w USA i w Polsce.
Wieczne odpoczywanie racz mu dac, Panie.

Wola Piotra bylo spoczac w jego rodzinnych stronach, w Polsce wsród swoich przodków. Ostatnia droga i ceremonia pogrzebowa wiec odbedzie sie w Skalbmierzu, gdzie zostanie pochowany na Cmentarzu Parafialnym. Data zostanie ustalona i podana po zalatwieniu formalnosci zwiazanych z transportem.

The late Piotr Nowak
It is with great sadness that we inform you that Piotr Nowak - beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend - after a serious and chronic illness passed away peacefully on May 20, 2025 at the age of 75.
Piotr was born on March 3, 1950 in Poland. In 1979, he emigrated to the USA. In 1983, he opened Nowak's Farmer Market in Chicago, specializing in Polish food products and his own production of cold cuts. Polish, homemade cold cuts were quickly appreciated by the Polish community in Chicago and beyond, and were delivered to Polish communities in other states and Canada. Nowak's Farmer Market was the Piotr's life's work, and he was very proud of it. For health reasons, in 2022, Piotr had to make the decision to close the store.
Throughout his life, Piotr gave evidence of perseverance, diligence and resourcefulness. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Poland, which is evidence of his love for his homeland. He also got to know other countries and cultures, visiting Peru, Turkey, Canada and many European countries.
He leaves behind in mourning his sons Waldemar and Simon, daughters-in-law Agnieszka and Natalia, granddaughters Victoria and Michelle with her husband Marcus, brothers Andrzej and Pawel, family and friends in the USA and Poland. Grant him eternal rest, Lord.

Ceremony:
Piotr's will was to rest in his hometown, in Poland, among his ancestors. The last journey and funeral ceremony will take place in Skalbmierz, where he will be buried in the Parish Cemetery. The date will be set and announced after the formalities related to transport have been completed.
