Josie "Polly" Chambless age 91 of Beaverton, AL passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024 at her residence.
Born February 11, 1933 in Mississippi she is the Daughter of the late Addie and Elsie Ruth Pugh Aldridge and the Wife of the late Delmers Chambless. She had lived in the Webb Community most of her life and was a member of the Union Chapel Baptist Church. She loved working in her flowers and gardening.
She is survived by 3 Daughters, Devona Brewer of Beaverton, AL, Lyne Collins and Connie Autrey both of Guin, AL and a Son, Richard Chambless of Guin, AL, a Host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren, 5 Sisters, Faye Cantrell of Oneonta, AL, Lee Ruth Cantrell, and Linda McFee of Beaverton, AL, Margie Kingsley of Killen, AL, and Janette Spann of Winfield, AL, a Brother, Eugene Aldridge of Dallas, TX, and her baby Odie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Delmers Chambless, a Sister, Maxine Ryland, 3 Brothers, Hershel Paul "Pewe", Leon and Bill Aldridge and a Granddaughter, April Hollis.
Services held Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 2:00 PM from the Veal Memorial Funeral Home Chapel - Guin with Burial in the Webb Cemetery.
