Dr. Ponziano Ferraraccio Obituary Dr. Ponziano Paul Ferraraccio, age 74 of Pulaski, died early morning, January 12, 2025 at Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on November 12, 1950 in Bluefield, West Virginia, and was the son of the late Bertha Sue Hutchison Ferraraccio and the late Ponziano Pilato Ferraraccio. He graduated from Hampden Sydney College with his undergraduate degree, and graduated from medical school at Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Ferraraccio was a long-time Emergency Room Doctor at Lewis Gale Hospital Pulaski. He loved old cars, and was an exceptional and amazing father, and husband.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sandra Kay Oakes Ferraraccio. He is survived by his daughter Shelly Ferraraccio and her husband Jason Decker of Pulaski: a brother; David Ferr of Oxford, MS.
Dr. Ferraraccio was cremated, per his wishes, and a memorial service may be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations in Dr. Ferraraccio to the American Heart Association 7272 Greenville Avenue Dallas, TX 75231 or to the Virginia German Shepherd Rescue P.O. Box 733 Centreville, VA 20122-0733
