He is survived by his loving wife, Angelica Martinez Rodriguez; his sons, Cesar Diaz and Alan Diaz; and his cherished siblings. Porfirio will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A proud fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Porfirio found joy in the simple pleasures of life-sharing a good meal (especially chicken) and listening to the music of Marco Antonio Solís and Los Bukis. His sense of humor and love for his family will be remembered always.
He now rests in peace, reunited with his beloved parents.
Porfirio Díaz Vélez falleció el 18 de septiembre de 2025 en Dallas, Texas, a la edad de 68 años. Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Angélica Martínez Rodríguez; sus hijos, César Díaz y Alan Díaz; y sus queridos hermanos. Porfirio será profundamente extrañado por todos los que lo conocieron. Orgulloso fanático de los Dallas Cowboys, Porfirio encontró alegría en los placeres simples de la vida: compartir una buena comida (especialmente pollo) y escuchar la música de Marco Antonio Solís y Los Bukis. Su sentido del humor y amor por su familia serán recordados siempre. Ahora descansa en paz, reunido con sus amados padres.
