Pradeep Kumar

Pradeep Kumar passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the age of 64. His wife of 35 years, Deepti (aka "Babe"), daughter Natasha and son Rohan were with him till the end and are privileged to carry on his legacy.

Pradeep learned perseverance early on. At a young age, he tragically lost his father. Pradeep witnessed his mother's gracious strength in raising five children in Thiruvalla, India. This instilled the courage he needed to take unconventional paths and embrace uncertainty.

He was the youngest in his family and the first to leave India. In his early twenties, Pradeep's first exposure abroad was a one-year stint in Soldotna, Alaska. San Francisco would follow, then he found his Midwest roots in Ann Arbor, Michigan, his home for decades.

Pradeep's laughter was infectious and his sense of humor had no bounds.

He had an appetite for adventure, including global travel, skydiving, flying planes, whitewater rafting, or just generally testing the rules.

His curiosity compounded over time, along with his joy for teaching and mentoring others.

An entrepreneur at his core, Pradeep built and ran an IoT based logistics company for two decades. He was dedicated to his craft and took pride in the journey. The rich relationships forged along the way had a special place in his heart.

Pradeep loved the simple pleasures of life. Sunday morning golf, bike rides with the wind in his face, scenic drives and family movie nights, harmless pranks, bridge with friends, and endless deep conversations.

A genuinely kind man who treated everyone with dignity and respect, Pradeep's spirit lives on.
