Pramook Long, 84, a long-time South Weber resident, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. Born in Korat, Thailand on October 10, 1940, Pramook was the daughter of Tong Deey and Teep Laboon.
She met her future husband, Francis Eugene Long, who was serving in the United States Air Force. They were married in Udon, Thailand in 1975. They lived together in Europe and California prior to settling in South Weber, Utah, where they raised their family together.
Pramook loved doing yard work, flower gardening, trips to Wendover, feeding wild animals and her cats, and spending time with her family.
She was saddened at the loss of her husband of 43 years when Frank passed in the summer of 2018. They are now reunited, and she will be laid to rest with him.
Pramook is survived by her children, Mong Sukmungsa, Kolat, Thailand; Jarunane (Tanam) Suvaluck, Salaburi, Thailand; Ratana (Chaowalit) Jaikar, Kolat, Thailand; Bunpot (Patchenee) Sukmungsa, Ogden; Jittima (Kasem) Singta, Ogden; and Monchai (Cami) Sukmungsa, West Haven, UT; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Bancha Sukmungsa; and her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the Community Center at Lindquist’s Office Building, 3434 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the center. Interment will take place on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
