Presiliano "Percy" Barela passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the age of 85. He was born on April 25, 1940, and lived a life full of love, strength, and deep devotion to his family.
Percy was preceded in death by his father, Jose Maria Louis Albino Barela, and his mother, Mary Dolores Eulaliya Ballejos Barela; His wife Alfides Barela, his brothers Toby Barela, Henry Barela, and Jerry Barela; his sons James Barela, Issac Barela, and Anthony Barela; and his daughter Diane Parson.
He is survived by his loving daughters Carol Barela and Romana Barela; and his sisters Polly Gallegos, Mary Barela, and Grace Sena. Percy leaves behind a large and loving family, including many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended relatives who will forever cherish his memory.
Percy will be remembered for his resilience, kind spirit, and the lasting impact he made on everyone who knew him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and loved ones.
