Preston Rex Brown, 58, of Windsor, Missouri, died Tuesday evening, December 5, 2023, at his home.
He was born June 15, 1965, in Washington, Mo., the son of Olin Elvin Brown and Betty Mae (Arant) Brown. On February 14, 1993, he married Julie Ann (Jones) Brown and she survives of the home.
Preston grew up in Urbana, Mo., and graduated from Skyline High School. He returned to Urbana after serving his country in the United States Army. He and his family moved to Windsor in 2014. He worked for Heatherington Meat Processing in Clinton. He enjoyed reading and had a love for history. He was a Christian and walked with the Lord throughout his life.
In addition to his wife Julie, survivors include 6 children, Ronald Brown (Tiffany), Megan Brown (Charles Cheesman), Brittany Brown (Aaron Newson), and Kailey, McKenzie, and Abigail of the home; a brother, Elvin Brown of Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren, Hanna, Lucian, Emmitt, Torin, Jackson, and Atom; several cousins, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 8, 2023, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, with Chaplain Ivory Jamerson officiating. Graveside services with Military Honors will follow in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. A memorial has been established to help with funeral expenses and contributions may be made in care of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.
