Primo Pacy Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory - R. Lee Williams Chapel on Jun. 14, 2025.
Primo Pacy died at his home surrounded by loved ones on June 11, 2025, in Winter Springs, FL, at the age of 92.
Primo is survived by his wife Rose Bove Pacy, his children, Prima and George McLatchey of St. Augustine, FL, Scott and Renee Pacy of Monessen, PA, Ralph "Butch" and Kimberly Pacy of West Palm Beach, FL and David and Kelly Pacy of Winter Springs, FL. Primo is also grandfather to 6 grandchildren, Jason Pacy (Natalie), Chris Williams (Mariel), Blaise Pacy (Ryan), Blake Pacy (Carley), Anthony and Nick Pacy and 11 Great Grandchildren, Harrison, Alena, Carson, Easton, Paxton, Austin and Justin Williams, Lainey Pacy, Jesse Green and Makayla and Aiden Schwoerer. Several nieces and nephews also survive him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Primo Pacy, mother, Dolores Bachetti Pacy Francis, sisters, Gena Guerra and Rena Altamar and his brother, Ron Pacy.
Primo was born on September 19, 1932, in Donora, PA. He graduated from Donora High School in Donora, PA in 1950 and went on to receive a degree in drafting/engineering. He met the love of his life, Rose Bove, at a dance in Charleroi, PA and they were married for 71 years. Despite eligibility for military deferment, Primo proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After the military, Primo worked in the Steel mill and later worked in the drafting and design field at various locations in the Mon Valley area. Primo was active in the community serving as Boy Scout Master in Donora, coaching youth sports, and providing the Monessen High School football game programs for years. He eventually moved to Oviedo, FL to work for Siemens. He tried to retire when he was 80 years old, but they kept calling him back!
Primo lived life on his terms. Always gregarious and full of life, people loved to be around him. His love of family was unparalleled as was his dedication to Rose. He was proud of his children and the closeness of his entire family. Primo will be missed by all those who knew him and we sympathize with those who will never get the chance to meet him
A funeral mass is scheduled for Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 11:00 at Nativity Catholic Church, 3255 N. Ronald Reagan Blvd., Longwood, FL 32750 with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Primo's life.
