Priscilla Bunn Obituary

Priscilla was born on October 7, 1936 to Theodore and Ella Fruendt in Chicago, IL. Priscilla went on to graduate from Concordia College in River Forest, IL where she met Richard, her future husband.
She spent most of her professional career as a pre-school teacher. Beyond being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Priscilla had a strong love of animals and music, singing in the church choir for many years. Best of all, she loved to laugh and made everyone around her appreciate the joys of life.
Priscilla is survived by her husband of over 67 years, Richard Bunn, son Stephen (Cynthia) Bunn, granddaughter Sarah (Stephen) Cummings, great-grandchildren Lydia and Stephen Cummings. She was predeceased by her grandson Joshua Bunn and sister Edith Fechter.
One of her favorite verses from scripture was Micah 6:8. " And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God"
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Priscilla's name to a Christian church or Christian organization of your choice. Memorial services will remain private.

Mrs Bunn was a wonderful preschool teacher for my 3 daughters. I will never forget her kindness as well as her old convertible that she loved so much.

Priscilla was my best friend Steve´s mother when my family lived in Medfield in the late 60´s/early 70´s. She was a delight!
My favorite memory of her is her driving Steve and I in her convertible Oldsmobile 446 in her stocking feet ... she was the first person I knew who wore peds with her sneakers. She drove fast and loved to have the convertible top down in the summer. She would drive Steve and I to the candlepin bowling alley on the outskirts of town and Steve and I would egg her on to drive fast so we could have the wind blow our hair around. More than once at our urging she hit the gas and threw gravel as we left the bowling alley parking lot - Steve and I loved it and laughed like crazy when she peeled out.
Happy forever Mrs. Bunn!
