Priscilla Elaine Anderson Conner was born on February 11, 1956 in Austin, Texas to Walter and Drucilla Anderson. She was the 7th of nine children to be born to this unison. Priscilla graduated from the new Anderson High School in May of 1974 and attended Texas Souther University in Houston, Texas from 1974-1976.
It was at Grant Chapel AME Church where she dedicated her life to receive Jesus Christ as her personal savior. After moving to Houston she joined Wesley Chapel AME Church under the leadership of Rev. E. E. Coates.
In Temple, Texas Priscilla attended Waymon AME Church under Rev. Simpson.
She participated with the children's ministry every Sunday teaching the word of God and was awarded the Women's Day 2013 honoree award. Priscilla was faithful to whatever God called her to do.
Priscilla built a career in healthcare by organizing and managing doctors' offices and performing administrative clinical work at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Priscilla returned to Austin, Texas and eventually became the caregiver for our mother along with Karen and Marian. She later moved to Temple to assist Marian with our brother Walter. She was also a foster care mother to Diane, Robin and Coby. Priscilla had no children of her own.
Priscilla left this world in a peaceful state Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 4:30
AM. She heard her named called and she answered. She transitioned from time to eternity.
Priscilla leaves to cherish her memory: Husband Gary Conner, Sisters: Marian Russell, Claudia Ford, Barbara McMurray, Karen Riley, Aquilla Anderson, and Yolanda Anderson, nieces, nephews, great Nieces, great Nephews, other relatives and friends
