Priscilla Arlene Davis

Priscilla Arlene Davis, age 84, of Brighton, Michigan, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on April 17, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, to her beloved parents James and Helen Anischenko, Priscilla was a woman of deep faith and devotion. In her early years, she attended convent school and became a nun, guided by her strong spiritual calling. However, God had other plans for her life. Upon returning to Michigan, Priscilla met the love of her life, Wesley "Duke" Davis, while they both worked in the Traffic Control Division at Ford Motor Company. The two married in July 1968, beginning a beautiful partnership that spanned 57 wonderful years.
Together, Priscilla and Duke built a loving home and raised two children, Michele and Darrell. Priscilla was a devoted wife, mother, and later, a proud grandmother. She took great joy in supporting her children throughout their lives-attending every game, event, and milestone with unwavering enthusiasm.
Outside of her family life, Priscilla found peace and happiness in her garden. Her home was surrounded by colorful blooms and lush greenery, a reflection of her nurturing spirit. Known for her kindness, strength, and gentle heart, Priscilla was a loving presence in the lives of all who knew her. She had a special fondness for animals-especially her grandchildren's dogs, Bruno and Abbey.
Priscilla is survived by her devoted husband, Duke Davis; her loving children, Michele Lee (Jeffrey) Turner and Darrell Brian (Silvana) Davis; and her cherished grandchildren, Ashlyn Turner, Danielle Turner, Elena Davis, and Nicolas "Nico" Davis. She is also survived by her dear sister, Sharon Schmidtke.
She is preceded in death by her siblings, Gerry Popkey, Diane Gajor and Michael Anischenko.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
