Priscilla Lester Obituary
Faye was born March 23, 1947 in Panther, WV a daughter of the late Walter and Edith Roberts Hurley. Faye worked for 35 years as a Teacher's Aide/Bus Aide for the McDowell County Board of Education.
In addition to her parents Faye was preceded in death by four grandchildren, and one brother, Bobby Hurley.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Edward Gene Lester of the home; one son, Michael Sarratt and wife Cindy of Panther, WV; two daughters, Melissa Nelson of Racine, WI and Shvaughn Paulick and husband Thomas also of Racine, WI; 16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Lou Whitt of Wisconsin,; two brothers, Wilson Pete Hurley of Panther, WV and Billy Hurley of Alabama; and four half-sisters, Brenda Kathyrn and husband Michael, Gladys and husband Robert, Debbie and husband Jeff and Linda.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 1 o'clock, with Elder Fred Bailey officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger. Burial will follow in the Mike Vance Cemetery at Trap Fork near Panther. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Friends may visit with the family Tuesday evening, December 12, 2023 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, WV; evening services will be held at 7 o'clock.
Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger is assisting the family.
