Priscilla Elena Simmons

Priscilla Simmons, born in Gallup, New Mexico, in 1951 to Robert and Helen Lucero passed away peacefully in her home.
Priscilla found great joy in her work as a Case Manager at Encino Gardens Apartments in Albuquerque. She cherished her relationships with coworkers, and she loved the time she spent with the many residents she served.
Priscilla had a special gift for shopping, and there was no outlet mall she was afraid to conquer. She also loved traveling with her friends, always seeking new experiences and adventures.
One of Priscilla's greatest blessings was receiving a liver transplant 34 years ago in San Francisco, California. She never missed a day without expressing her deep gratitude for this life-giving gift.
Above all, Priscilla adored her family: her sister, Lillian Coriz; her brother Benjamin Lucero, her daughters, Melissa Knox and Paula Michelle Abeita; and especially her beloved grandchildren, Matthew and Kelsey Knox. Finally, she cherished all her Grandpups.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Services for Priscilla Simmons will be held Friday, March 7th, at 10:30 am at Riverside Funeral Home in Albuquerque, NM. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial.
