Pyper Fay Jean Thompson-Spann, age 3, passed away in Fort Smith, AR on May 22, 2023. Pyper was born on March 6, 2020 to Justin Spann and Albany Thompson. She is preceded in death by her Great-Grandpa James Raney and Great Uncle Mitchell Roberson. She is survived by her parents Justin Spann (Nikayla) and Albany Thompson, three brothers, Rowan Thompson, Justin Spann Jr., and Memphis Spann, two sisters, Clarity Thompson and Nora-Kay Spann, Grandparents Tiffanie McGuire (James), Chris Spaunhurst (Kim), Pam Saulsberry (Harlan) and Billy Spann, along with a host of Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Pyper loved playing with Barbies, baby dolls, singing, dancing and her favorite color was pink. She loved animals, especially 'her' cat Maui and 'her' dog Rutie. She loved giving hugs and kisses and playing with her siblings. Her and her brother Memphis were considered to be Bonnie and Clyde as they were always getting into things together and always getting caught. She loved chocolate and cake, shoes and pigtails, makeup and lipstick, playing outside and bubbles.
This sweet angel was loved by so many and her smile lit up a room. She will be forever remembered.
Services will be held Monday, June 5, 2023 at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, AR at 1p.m. Interment will be at Gilliam Cemetery in Huntington, AR.
Pallbearers are Justin Spann, Chris Spaunhurst, James McGuire, Don Stroud and Lucas Spaunhurst.
Honorary Pallbearers are Greg Moser, Chris Spaunhurst Jr., Isaac Loveall and Chris Spann.
