Mr. QiFen Xie was born on September 6, 1919 in Kaiping City of Guang Dong Province in China. His wife YanYing Wu passed away in 2006. He was a hardworking business man in China before moving to the United States with family where he lived in Louisville, Mississippi, since 1997 with his son, daughter, and their family. He had an immense love for poetry, singing, and writing beautiful traditional Chinese calligraphic works. He is a very talented, loving, caring, honest, adamant, fearless, selfless, unity, diligent, thrifty, hard-working person. He emphasizes good school education to his children. He loves watching volleyball game. He is very knowledgeable in Chinese herbs. He loves the Chinese herbal tea and he passed his long life secret herbal tea recipe to his offspring to keeping them healthy and long life.
Mr. Qi Fen Xie is survived by six children: TongHuo Xie (Wife: XiuLi Hu); TongJian Xie (Wife: Yanfang Zhang); TongRi Xie (Wife: Wangqing Tao); Qiongzhen Xie (Husband: YingRui Yu); Daisy Xie (Husband: Simon Chen); Julia Ripplinger (Husband: Melvin Ripplinger). He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Tracy Jue (husband: Jeffrey Jue); QingFeng Xie; "Justin" HaiYe Xie (Wife: Qing Liu); WeiBin Yu (wife: YanNa Huang); "Jess" Juncong Xie; Devin Chen; Katy Chen; and four great-grandchildren: Dillon Jue; Ella Jane Jue; ZiHong Yu; and ZiYing Yu.
Serving as pallbearers are TongHuo Xie, TongJian Xie, HaiYe "Justin" Xie, Simon Chen, Melvin Ripplinger, and Devin Chen.
Please join us in cherishing the memory of Mr. QiFen Xie as we lay him to rest at Louisville Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Mississippi, on Saturday, October 15, 2022.
