Quentin Q. Christian departed this life on June 28th of 2023 at 5:32 am. When he entered his eternal life, he was in his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was 44-years-old when he entered his eternal life.
On July 21st, 1978 Quentin was born to Margaret Christian and Russell Mabray at Orange Memorial Hospital in Orange, NJ. He was preceded in death by his eldest brother Napoleon (Po) Christian, his grandmother Viola Christian and his grandfather Henry Christian.
Quentin and his brothers, Napoleon and Otis (Pat) Christian, were raised in East Orange, NJ and attended Clifford J. Scott High School. He went to trade school for two years, working to achieve his CDL license with Boyd Brothers Trucking Inc.
Quentin built a career with the United Postal Service as a mail carrier in Livingston, NJ. He learned to become a diligent and hardworking carrier. He formed great relationships with his co-workers with whom he also liked to talk trash. Quentin continued his USPS carrier career until his passing.
Quentin was a fierce warrior as he continued to look after his wife (Daneefa), daughter (Shakira) and mother (Margaret). He was a true protector and provider as he suffered with his chronic heart condition. Quentin worked tirelessly to provide for his family as a devoted and faithful father, husband and son.
Quentin's favorite pastimes were video games, watching his favorite football team play, and spending time with his family. He also had a very special bond with his cousins who were often referred to as his "Other Brothers". Quentin loved his family and loved to trash talk. He also deeply cared for music and sweet things like cakes and pies.
On October 24th of 2020, Quentin married his longtime love, Daneefa Freeman, making her Daneefa Christian from that day forth. Together the couple had their daughter Shakira Christian. Quentin also raised his two stepsons, Shakeim and Trevon Tucker. Then, after the passing of his wife's twin sister, Quentin also cared for their two nieces, Sanaya and Kelsey Freeman. Together the couple worked to raise and care for their newly grown family.
Quentin will always be treasured for his dedication to work and passion for his family. He leaves a legacy of children and laughter filled memories with his family.
