In memory of Ruth Mary Boulger Beckwith

The news of your demise was a shocker indeed

Do we remember or forget all the times we had with you

A family now wiser because of you

So do we think of or forgive you for leaving us

Do we blame God or angels, people or society

And shall we blame them or ourselves

For excesses of caring or not caring enough

Do we remember or forget your loss

Or all the good you did while among us

The happiness of your existence or the sadness of your loss

We'll remember it all as we go on with our lives

Still, we know that you sit with the angels in heaven

Yet will look down upon us

And your spirit will guide us always.

Rest in peace our mother, wife, sister, cousin and friend

You will not be forgotten!!
