R. Steven Miller ObituaryROBERT STEVEN MILLER, 62 of Whiteford, MD died on Thursday, December 26, 2024 in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. Born on June 6, 1962 in Havre de Grace, MD, Steve was a son of Barbara (VanHart) Miller of Whiteford and the late Paul R. Miller
Steve worked for many years as a pipeline mechanic for Transco at the Bryansville area location. He enjoyed deer hunting, motorcycle and car racing as a member of the Heart & Soul Racing Team at the Cecil County Dragway and was very proud of his classic Nova.
Steve volunteered for numerous years at the Mason Dixon Fairgrounds in Delta for the dirt bike drags, especially enjoyed working with the younger kids. He is known as having a heart of gold, was family oriented and thoroughly enjoyed life.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by:
A daughter, Jennifer Marie Hoffman and her husband, Joshua of Etters, PA
Two grandchildren, Logan and Madison
A sister, Deborah Jones and her husband, Calvin of Colora, MD and family.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2024 from 1to 2 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA. Immediately following will be the procession to Slate Ridge Cemetery for the committal at the gravesite.
