R. Dennis Moyer, known to many as Uncle Dennis, age 80, of Carnegie, PA, and formerly of Monocacy and Birdsboro, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 21, 2025. Born in Linfield, PA, on September 10, 1944, Dennis was the son of the late Ralph B. and Kathryn R. (Angstadt) Moyer.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Sue (Charlesworth) Moyer; his loving son and daughter in law, Kent and Nichole Moyer; one cherished grandchild; and his sister, Geraldine Longaker. Dennis was predeceased by his siblings Betty Oxenford, Doris Fletcher, and Bob Moyer. He will also be deeply missed by many nieces and nephews.
Dennis was a Staff Sergeant in the US Marine Corps and served in the Vietnam Conflict. He had a passion for the outdoors and spent many joyful hours fresh and saltwater fishing. He was also an avid fan of auto racing, a dedicated gardener, and a lifelong enthusiast of baseball and football.

Susie sorry to hear about Dennis. I worked at Firestone with his brother Bobby. Dennis and Bobby was good men and are both missed by me.
