Rachel Kerr Obituary

Rachel Anna Kerr, a beloved daughter, wife, mother, and friend, quietly departed this world on August 9, 2025, in Lake St. Louis, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 12, 1961, in Worms, Germany, Rachel's journey was a testament to resilience, love, and the enduring spirit that she carried within her.

Rachel was a woman of uncommonly kind nature—a beacon of compassion and generosity who could light up any room with her infectious smile. Those who were fortunate to know her were familiar with her remarkable sense of humor and her ability to laugh fully, creating joy wherever she went. She had a heart that cared deeply for those around her, always putting others' needs before her own.

Her proudest accomplishments were evident in her marriage to her greatest love, Brian Kerr, of almost 50 treasured years, and in the lives of her three children, Crista, R. Michelle, and Jeremy. Rachel poured her love and energy into her family, forging bonds that would last a lifetime. She found immense joy in spending time with her loved ones, whether creating memories through music, spirited shopping trips, or simply sharing moments of laughter.

Rachel's legacy extends beyond her immediate family. She is survived by her loving husband, Brian Kerr; her devoted children, R. Michelle Kerr and Jeremy Kerr; her brother, Bobby Parks; and her beloved cats, Precious and Meekah, who were as cherished as family members. Though she now joins her departed family, including her parents, John and Margaret Parks, her daughter Crista Parks, and her sister, Annette Cyr, we take solace in knowing that she is reunited with them, watching over her loved ones from above.

A funeral service in honor of Rachel's remarkable life will be held on September 8, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri. Friends and family are welcome to gather to celebrate the profound impact Rachel had on all who were fortunate enough to know her. As we reflect on her journey, we remember a woman who embodied kindness, strength, and unwavering love—a true blessing to everyone she touched.
