Rachel Kincaid Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Oct. 1, 2025.
Rachel Alice Kincaid (Neun), born on December 12, 1950, passed away peacefully with family at her side on September 24, 2025, after some unexpected medical complications. She was predeceased by her father, Stanley Neun of Roxbury, VT, and her mother, Minnie A. Robinson of South Royalton, VT, as well as her son, Brandon M. Kincaid of Montana. She leaves behind her daughter Melisa Loomis and husband, Mike Loomis of South Royalton, VT, daughter Stephanie Taylor (Robert Klein) of Framingham, MA, granddaughter, Michele Loomis of South Royalton and great granddaughter, Aria Read; Sam Taylor and wife Mackenzie Delia and great grandchildren Apollo Taylor Delia and Winona Ann Delia of North Carolina; Spencer Taylor (Hanna Morris) and great grandchildren Carter Hodgdon and Everett Taylor of Michigan. She also leaves behind a grandson (son of Brandon), Dayton Kincaid of Montana. Rachel graduated from Northfield High School in 1968, after which she worked in accounts payable/receivable/office management for most of her career. She went on to get her bachelor's degree in business administration later in life at Southern Wesleyan University in South Carolina, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and finished out her career at Cancer Centers of South Carolina. She was an avid reader with a special interest in murder mysteries. She enjoyed good food and spending time with family and friends. She had a quick-witted sense of humor and always enjoyed a good laugh. She loved animals, had many cats and dogs over the years, and most recently shared her home with two spunky cats. There will be a private graveside service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to a humane society of your choosing.
